Home Gardening for profit

This is for all you people out there that are still spending outrageous amounts of money for veggies in the stores and /or need a little more cash in your pocket. Listen up cause I can save you some cash, by guess what growing your own!!
The plants do all the work of producing you harvests all you have to do is give them the chance.

Not many people really think about saving money in this way, they pass Gardening off just as a hobbies of peoples. Well guess what My hobbies has save my family a bunch of money and actually earned me a little profit on the side! It wasn't much the first year, but I wasn't planning to sell any either, and then boom I told one person who told some one else and with in a few weeks I was having to turn people away so as to keep a Little for the family.

I didn't have to wonder why they cam to me instead of the markets, I was way way cheaper, and all of my stuff is guaranteed organic! My first year I made a little bit of money to put back, and started planning for my second year. I wanted to get a little bigger and actually sell bedding plants , as I had a bunch of people as me if I had any extra to sell the previous season.
I got my seeds, 2 packs of each was plenty for me and bedding plants that I wanted to have for sale, I bought me soil and made little seedling trays from solo cups, and let the seeds do what they do best ...grow.

soon enough it was time to plant the garden again the seedlings were hardy with ther etrue leaves, the ground being tilled up and limed, and it started, the ohone calls asking " you going to have the veggeis this year, what about the bedding plants?" sure enough the clients form last year were comeing back and telling friends, they have to be!!!!!
I sold 108 bedding plants that year and I don't know how many pound of veggies.
it was enough to build a small green house as to accommodate the rise in products that I was going to need.

By that time I had learned quit a bit about plant breding, not that hard really , and made seeds so I would not have to buy any for ever.. talk about a money saver..... at this point I could really see where this was starting to become a very nice side income and how it could unfold for me in the future..

I now have a little plant nursery that I run from home and I go the the local farmers markets every weekend to sell my harvest.
If you love to garden or even don't mind it but need some money , This is something that you might ought to think about, we are talking about producing something that produces it self. see the point!

Keep up with this blog and I will give you some tips and hits as I find out to help you start up yourself, I put less that 50 bucks into my first garden and it paid for the next years were as I spent 350 bucks on it!
